Today, the teacher and we went to Chengming academy to listen to the speech. When I came to the door, I saw a statue in front of the door. The statue held a book and was very tall. He was Confucius. If you want to see him, you have to look up. No wonder people say they look up at Confucius. When entering the college, the rows of seats are very tidy, and no one has come yet, so it's very quiet, giving a very serious feeling. As people gradually entered the arena, the speech began. First, I played a song "life reward". After listening to this song, I realized my parents' selfless dedication. Then the teacher told us about the history of China, how many coups and the replacement of dynasties in China, the more powerful dynasties are Xia, Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han wait.今天，老师和我们一起去诚明书院去听演讲。来到门口，只见门前有一个雕像，这个雕像手捧着书，而且很高大，他就是孔子，想要看到他，必须要抬头，难怪人们说仰视孔子呢。进入书院，一排排座位十分整齐，暂时还没来什么人，所以很安静，给人一种很严肃的感觉。随着人们渐渐地入场，演讲也开始了，先播放了一首歌《一生报答》，听完这首歌，我体会到了父母的无私奉献。接着老师给我们讲了中国的历史，中国经历多少次政变和朝代的替换，比较强盛的朝代有夏，商，周，秦，汉，……等等。

中国曾经是世界上最强大的国家，经济，文化，科技世界瞩目。可是十九世纪中国在清朝统治下衰落。一九一二年孙中山建立了中华民国，但胜利果实被西洋军阀窃取，中国也进入军阀混乱时期，国共十年内战，八年抗日，最终在一九四九年由中国共产党领导的中华人民共和国在京成立，国民党统治的中华民国政府撤至台湾。一九七八年后改革开放政策，二零一一年实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦而奋斗。其中，日本侵略中国的残暴，强奸杀害中华民族同胞，我们永远都不能忘记。少年强则国强，只要我们努力学习，就能报效祖国，对国的忠就是对父母的孝。
